For the recording they are accompanied by the excellent Russian violinist Evgeni Sviridov.Arcangelo Corelli, who lived and died in Rome, is considered a typical representative of classical Italian violin music and, as such, had a strong influence on all his younger contemporaries, whose works can be heard on this album.
