What to Expect on RSD
1Get here early! We've heard a good number of people plan to line up before doors open. The line typically goes around the building, so dress for the weather and get comfortable.
2Line Etiquette. We do an old-fashioned line, and every year people have a ton of fun hanging out with fellow record heads. Be cool about line holding — a bathroom break, food run, or quick run home is totally fine, but don't drop a chair and go back to bed. If in doubt, ask your new friends in line!
3Coffee & Donuts! Starting around 6:30 AM, we'll have coffee from Caribou Coffee and donuts from Donut Star for folks waiting in line. First come, first served!
4The line continues inside! We cap the number of people in the store at a time, so the line moves from outside to inside. Head to the back counter and let our staff know which RSD titles you want — the line then continues to the front for checkout. We move pretty fast and have upgraded our card readers!
5Browse while you're here! After grabbing your RSD picks, feel free to leave your bag at the counter and take your time browsing. We'll have a ton of cool records on sale throughout the store!
6Port-a-potty on site. We've got you covered while you wait in line.
