It showcases the eclecticism of the Saravah label's producer - a pioneer of world music - and the razor-sharp lyrics of a great poet of French chanson, inspired by Brazilian rhythms and jazz. From Maurice Vander, Francis Lai and Baden Powell to the Japanese electro-pop scene of the 1980s, via Jacques Higelin, Areski Belkacem and the Quebec-born Michel Rivard, this double compilation - carried by the soft, intimate voice of the wanderer Pierre Barouh - sheds light on the thread of years and encounters that shaped his work.

UPC: 3700398741925
Label: Kuroneko
Release Date: 1.22.27
Format: Vinyl
